Joel Veltman has refused to rule out the possibility of returning to Ajax at the end of the season when his contract with Brighton expires.
The Dutchman penned a one-year contract extension on the Sussex coast earlier this year, and the short-term nature of the deal means that the defender will soon have a tough call to make on his future.
The 33-year-old has made six appearances in all competitions for Brighton so far this season, and his experience behind the scenes cannot be understated either. However, the Seagulls may soon have to start planning for their No. 34's departure.
Ajax held talks with Veltman over the summer about a potential return, and the defender remains open to that idea despite the move not materialising previously.
