Jason Ayto opens up on his Brighton priorities and plans - 'summer work's already started'
Brighton's newly-appointed Jason Ayto will be keen to make an impression over the coming months.

New Brighton sporting director Jason Ayto has opened up his short-term plans at the club, with work going on behind the scenes ahead of the upcoming transfer windows.
Ayto replaced David Weir at the Amex Stadium earlier this season, with Tony Bloom and Paul Barber appointing the ex-Arsenal chief to oversee ‘all footballing areas of the club’.
The 40-year-old will therefore be keen to prove his worth and make an impression over the coming months, and the January transfer window will be the earliest opportunity for him to make his mark.
Speaking on the Brighton and Hove Albion YouTube channel, Ayto was asked about whether he has any short-term priorities on the Sussex coast, to which he joked: “Learn everyone’s names, not get lost around here!”
