Fabian Hurzeler has heaped praise on Jack Hinshelwood after the versatile midfielder penned a contract extension with Brighton.

The England Under-21 international has extended his stay with the Seagulls until 2029, having already made 70 senior appearances for the club since breaking through the Albion ranks under Roberto De Zerbi.

Hinshelwood’s contract extension comes on the back of the playmaker asserting himself as a key player for Brighton in an unorthodox No. 10 role recently, where he has linked up particularly well with Danny Welbeck in the final third. The 20-year-old has previously played in central midfield and slotted in at right-back when required.
