Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler has revealed that his side have rebuffed offers for some of his most ‘important players’ already this summer. Several Seagulls stars have been linked with moves away from the club over the past few months, including Jan Paul van Hecke and Kaoru Mitoma.
Joao Pedro and Pervis Estupinan are among the most notable departures so far this summer though, whilst further outgoings appear to be in the pipeline as well. Matt O’Riley, Julio Enciso and Igor have also been linked with exits.
But despite the potential sales, Hurzeler remains content with his side’s transfer policy, which ultimately has played a key part in Brighton’s rise up the Premier League prior to his arrival.
