Fabian Hurzeler makes 'very honest' admission following Brighton's injury-hit campaign

Brighton struggled with a number of injuries last season and work is ongoing to buck the trend.

Fabian Hurzeler has revealed that Brighton have hosted workshops to try and address their injury problems last season.

The Seagulls’ campaign was riddled with absentees, with James Milner, Solly March and Ferdi Kadioglu spending extended periods on the sidelines. Similarly, Adam Webster, Tariq Lamptey and Igor Julio struggled to stay fit, among others.

Brighton lost more days to injury than any other Premier League outfit last season, and it is an issue that Hurzeler and his medical team are working towards addressing as soon as possible.

Speaking to The Athletic, the 32-year-old explained: “When I started here, we had 13 injured players. Ferdi is still a little bit injured.
