Fabian Hurzeler has reportedly agreed to pen a new long-term contract with Brighton.
The German has enjoyed a rollercoaster of a campaign on the Sussex coast this season, steering the Seagulls into European contention after a torrid run of form saw him lose the faith of some supporters during the winter period.
Regardless, Brighton opted to keep the faith in Hurzeler, and their show of belief has been rewarded in recent weeks. The Seagulls are currently sitting in eighth place in the Premier League with three games to play.
With Brighton impressing, Hurzeler’s credentials have caught the eye of suitors around Europe, with Bayer Leverkusen particularly keen to acquire his services. However, an exit from the Amex Stadium does not appear to be on the agenda.
