Fabian Hurzeler reveals how Brighton survive Chelsea transfer raids as five stars praised

Chelsea have routinely poached players and members of staff from Brighton in recent years.

Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler has spoken about how his side have managed to seamlessly cope with the sales of some of their marquee players – and their somewhat yearly sale of stars to Chelsea. 

Despite the London club splashing over £250million on Seagulls players and staff across the last few years, Brighton are on a three-game winning streak against the Blues, with their most recent win coming last Saturday when they came from behind to secure ad emphatic 3-1 victory.

When asked about how the club can survive and thrive whilst losing so many star players, Hurzeler told The Argus: “Good recruitment system from Tony Bloom! I think that is the main thing.
