Brighton duo Carlos Baleba and Premier League debutant Olivier Boscagli have been backed by manager Fabian Hurzeler following their disappointing first half displays against Brentford, which saw them withdrawn at half-time for captain Lewis Dunk and Maxim De Cuyper.

Young midfielder Baleba is still yet to reach the heights of last season following strong links to Manchester United, and the speculation appears to have seriously affected his performances in recent months. The Cameroonian has only managed to complete just one full 90 in the league so far this campaign, looking like a shadow of his former self.
