Brighton veteran James Milner has spoken about Carlos Baleba’s tricky start to the campaign following his links to Manchester United late in the summer transfer window and his limited pre-season due to injury.
Baleba was one of the Seagulls’ key players last season and played a crucial role in the club securing their second-highest points tally ever, but so far this season, the young midfielder is yet to produce a performance anywhere to the levels as the previous season.
Fabian Hurzeler has made it no secret that links to Old Trafford have played on the mind of the 21-year-old, but with the transfer market now shut, the German boss will be hoping he can help his No. 17 bounce back as soon as possible.
