Germany manager Julian Nagelsmann has sent a firm message to Brajan Gruda ahead of this summer’s World Cup.

Gruda left Brighton for RB Leipzig on deadline day in the January transfer window on a loan deal until the end of the season in the hope of breaking into his international manager’s plans.

Since his return to the Bundesliga, the German has impressed, scoring once and registering one assist in four appearances.

As the 2026 World Cup edges closer, Gruda’s form will certainly be giving Nagelsmann something to think about, but the loanee has been told he is ‘not doing enough’ just yet.
