RB Leipzig have reportedly reached an agreement to sign Brighton’s Brajan Gruda.

As exclusively broken by The Brighton Base, the forward joined the Bundesliga side on a short-term loan deal in the January transfer window.

Gruda hoped that a successful stint back in his homeland would put him in the frame for a call-up to Germany’s World Cup. However, his three goals and three assists in 14 appearances didn’t catch the eye of Julian Nagelsmann.

Nevertheless, all parties were content with how the loan deal panned out, and convinced Leipzig to make the playmaker their top target this summer.
