Brighton have been forced to reshuffle their pre-season plans at the last minute after discovering the pitches at their planned training camp were unusable.
The Seagulls were set to travel to their training camp in Evian-les-Bains, located on the cusp of the Swiss border, on Thursday, July 23rd.
They would then base themselves at the Hotel Royal Resort for eight days, taking part in two different friendlies.
However, those plans unravelled on Wednesday when a group of Brighton staff travelled ahead of the squad to inspect the facilities and prepare for the team's arrival.
