Brighton have confirmed that Diego Coppola has joined Paris FC on a permanent deal.
The Italian joined the Seagulls just 12 months ago from Hellas Verona, but he immediately struggled for minutes on the Sussex coast.
Coppola made nine appearances for Brighton in the opening half of the campaign, being limited to only two Premier League starts, prompting him to push for a January exit. Fabian Hurzeler’s side obliged, recalling Igor Julio from West Ham to facilitate the move.
A spell with Les Parisiens followed, where Coppola became a mainstay in the heart of their backline.
