It’s been a busy start to the transfer window for Brighton, and there are no signs of it slowing down anytime soon.

The Seagulls have already completed deals for AIK Stockholm’s Zadok Yohanna and Olympiacos’ Costinha, whilst also making bids for Tottenham’s Luka Vuskovic and Atalanta’s Honest Ahanor.

The Albion are also in pole position to secure the signature of Michael Svoboda from Serie A outfit Venezia.

With that in mind, it is clear there is a real focus on bolstering Fabian Hurzeler’s defensive ranks ahead of what promises to be a busy 2026/27 campaign, during which the club’s squad depth will be tested.
