Amario Cozier-Duberry has joined Middlesbrough on a season-long loan deal after penning a contract extension with the Seagulls.

The forward impressed during his spell with Bolton Wanderers last season, and Brighton had intended for the 21-year-old to be part of their first-team plans this campaign.

However, Cozier-Duberry was hopeful of spending another season in the EFL, and he has now been granted that wish after agreeing fresh terms with the Seagulls.

The Brighton Base revealed this morning that the winger had agreed a new three-year deal at the Amex Stadium, and he has since put pen to paper on that contract.
