Brighton will be hoping to jump back into the fight for Europe with a win against Wolves this weekend.
The Seagulls are unbeaten in four of their last five Premier League matches, but their 3-1 defeat to Newcastle last weekend saw them fall out of the top seven.
Wolves, meanwhile, have lost three of their last five and have not won a league match since early March. The West Midlands club have already been mathematically relegated from the Premier League and are already starting to prepare for life in the Championship next season.
Given Wolves’ struggles, all the pressure is on Brighton to pick up all three points at the Amex Stadium on Saturday. Fabian Hurzeler’s side look set to be without both Diego Gomez and Mats Wieffer for this high-stakes clash, with the duo in a race against time to prove their fitness.
