As Bart Verbruggen garners interest from some of the biggest clubs all over the world, it feels like a good time to look around and see how Brighton may look to solve their potentially imminent goalkeeping dilemma.
The good news for the Seagulls is that they may not have to look far, especially given Carl Rushworth's performances over the past 12 months.
Having joined Brighton's Under-18s in 2019, Rushworth has been loaned out around England, most recently to Championship winners Coventry City.
The shot-stopper played a starring role in the Sky Blues' securing promotion back to the Premier League. Rushworth was named the club's Player of the Season, Players' Player of the Season, and Young Player of the Season, and even won the Golden Glove.
