Brighton moved up to fifth place in the Premier League with a professional 2-0 victory over Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
The Seagulls were relentless with their attacking pressure in the first 25 minutes, before being forced to weather the storm when Sean Dyche’s side responded with a few tactical tweaks to gain a foothold in the clash.
Maxim De Cuyper then opened the scoring at the City Ground on the cusp of half-time when slotting a neat strike past Matz Sels after being slipped through by Yankuba Minteh.
Forest pushed for an equaliser after the break, with Morgan Gibbs-White and Igor Jesus missing a couple of half-chances, but Brighton never truly looked under the cosh and put the game to bed in the 88th minute through Stefanos Tzimas.
