Brighton bounced back to winning ways with a comfortable 3-0 win over Leeds United on Saturday afternoon to retain their impressive record over the Premier League newcomers.
The Seagulls raced into an early lead after 11 minutes when Danny Welbeck tapped home from close range after some excellent link-up play between Yankuba Minteh and Mats Wieffer down the right.
Brighton then doubled their lead in the 64th minute, with Minteh working an opening for himself with some neat footwork before sliding his pass across the face of the Leeds goal for Diego Gomez to convert.
The Paraguayan then put the game to bed just six minutes later, tapping into yet another empty net after Georginio Rutter pounced on a mistake from Jayden Bogle to tee up his teammate.
