Brighton and Crystal Palace played out a forgettable 0-0 draw on Sunday afternoon at Selhurst Park, with Fabian Hurzeler’s side battling to their second clean sheet in as many weeks.
Both sides squandered big chances to break the deadlock throughout the clash, with Yankubah Minteh scuffing his effort wide in the first half before Ismaila Sarr and Daicha Kamada both failed to sort their feet out when finding themselves in dangerous positions after the interval.
The Seagulls looked set to be offered the chance to take the lead after an hour when referee Tim Robinson pointed to the spot after Georginio Rutter looked to have been brought down by Jaydee Canvot. However, the No. 10 was adjudged to have dived and a VAR review saw the decision overturned.
