A terrific strike from Jack Hinshelwood saw Brighton come from behind to clinch a 2-1 victory over Brentford at the Amex Stadium.
The Bees struck first through an Igor Thiago penalty-kick in the 29th minute, with the Brazilian calmly bagging his ninth goal of the Premier League campaign after Carlos Baleba had brought down Dango Ouattara inside the penalty area.
The Seagulls were not to be dispelled by going behind, with a lively second-half display seeing striker Danny Welbeck come to the forefront of proceedings.
After firing wildly over the bar just yards from goal moments after the interval, Brighton’s talisman soon regained his composure to direct a whipped Yankuba Minteh cross past Caoimhin Kelleher in the 71st minute.
