A moment of magic from Charalampos Kostoulas rescued a point for Brighton in their 1-1 draw with AFC Bournemouth on Monday night.
After riding the storm for the opening 10 minutes, the Cherries took control of the match and deservedly took the lead after 32 minutes, albeit in controversial fashion.
The away side were awarded a penalty after VAR spotted that Amine Adli was clipped by the outstretched leg of Bart Verbruggen, with Marcus Tavernier coolly converting to bag his fifth goal of the campaign.
Brighton continued to struggle after going behind, and it was a flurry of late changes which turned the tide in the contest. The Seagulls huffed and puffed but were limited to a handful of half-chances before substitute Kostoulas’ individual brilliance drew them level.
