Brighton will have had a keen eye on the U21 Euros over the past weeks as they reportedly continue to track six of the competition’s biggest stars. Along with their targets, they also had Brajan Gruda, Jack Hinshelwood, James Beadle and new signing Diego Coppola representing their countries, with three of the four making the final. So, how did these 10 players fare during the tournament?
Lukas Ullrich
The 21-year-old left-back only played two of Germany’s five games leading up to the final, picking up 19 minutes in the group stage against Czechia and playing the full 90 in the 2-1 win against England, where he provided the assist for Germany’s opening goal.
