Brighton may have an ace up their sleeve in the race to sign Marseille’s Azzedine Ounahi, as a trio of Spanish sides threaten to derail Albion’s advanced talks. While the Ligue 1 outfit remain set on their asking price for the midfielder, the Seagulls could offer an extra incentive for Marseille to sell.

Former Seagulls manager Roberto de Zerbi arrived in the Velodrome dugout in May 2024, with reports since suggesting that the boss holds an interest in reuniting with Simon Adingra. The left winger was one of De Zerbi’s most trusted figures during Brighton’s 2023/24 campaign, playing 40 times for his side across all competitions.
