Brighton will be hoping to make it five games unbeaten when they host Unai Emery’s Aston Villa on Wednesday evening.

A victory at the Amex Stadium would see the Seagulls overtake their opponents in the Premier League table and potentially break into the top four, depending on results elsewhere.

Villa arrive on the Sussex coast in impressive form of their own though, securing their fifth successive win in all competitions over the weekend when beating Wolves 1-0.

With plenty of football on the horizon over this festive period, it remains to be seen whether Fabian Hurzeler or Emery decide to roll the dice and rotate their ranks, or if both managers feel that their usual starting XIs will be up to the task.
