How Brighton's three stars performed in U21 Euros final as England clinched European glory

Three Brighton players were in action during the European Under-21 Championship final on Saturday night.

Brighton’s James Beadle and Jack Hinshelwood claimed European glory this evening as England Under-21’s defeated Germany 3-2 in the European Under-21 Championship final. It was heartbreak for their Seagulls teammate Brajan Gruda, who’s sharp display was not enough to get Germany over the line. The victory saw the Three Lions’ claim back-to-back European glory after their success against Spain in Batumi just under two years ago, with Jonathan Rowe bagging a late winner in extra time for Lee Carsley's side.

Despite his personal interest, Fabian Hurzeler would have had his eyes on both sides tonight as three members of his squad were on display, here is how they fared...
