Brighton could have the perfect present to welcome Olivier Boscagli to their ranks: one of his favoured shirt numbers. The Seagulls look set to sign the French defender when his PSV contract expires on July 1, and transfer movements could see the 27-year-old take one of the two shirt numbers he wore during his time in the Eredivisie.
Since 2021, Boscagli has worn No. 18 at PSV, but that is already taken by Danny Welbeck. However, there is a possibility that the veteran striker could switch to No. 9 or 10 depending on the futures of Joao Pedro and Julio Enciso, who are both linked with permanent moves away from the club. New Greek duo Stefanos Tzimas and Charalampos Kostoulas may also have their eye on those numbers too though.
