Brighton loan watch: Ferguson recall chances made clear as duo clash in the Championship

We take a closer look at how Brighton's loan players got on over the past week.

It was a pivotal week for Brighton’s loan players, with big decisions set to be made about who will be recalled and who will be told to stay with their current teams. Currently, there are 16 Seagulls out on loan. Some, like Amario Cozier-Duberry, had another big week. Facundo Buonanotte and Jeremy Sarmiento, meanwhile, continued to be left out of their club sides. 

With all this in mind, The Brighton Base takes a look at how all 16 stars players performed in the last week. 

Evan Ferguson (AS Roma): vs. Atalanta

Started and played 60 minutes for Roma in the club’s 1-0 loss to Atalanta. The Irishman had three shots on target, two of which came from outside the box. Speaking to talkSPORT, Brighton CEO Paul Barber described the chances of Ferguson coming back to the Albion this January as ‘unlikely’.
