Brighton set to send young attacker out on loan again as career reaches another crucial crossroads

The forward has endured a rollercoaster of a few campaigns. The Argentine impressed during his first two seasons with the Seagulls following his move from boyhood club Rosario Central.

However, after the arrival of several attacking prospects, Buonanotte was loaned to Leicester City in 2024. He hit the ground running with the Foxes before slipping down the pecking order at the King Power Stadium when Ruud van Nistelrooy replaced Steve Cooper as manager.  

Last season was then one to forget for the forward. After deciding to snub Leeds United for a stint with Chelsea, the 21-year-old ended up spending the second half of the season at Elland Road anyway after his move to the Blues unsurprisingly didn’t go to plan and was cut short in January.
