Brighton Women continued their impressive pre-season preparations with a 1-1 draw with PSG on Sunday afternoon.
The Seagulls held their own admirably during the opening stages, creating a number of chances for wingers Emily Murphy and Kiko Seike to get to their byline – though their final product missed the mark.
PSG then made Brighton’s wastefulness pay in the 36th minute through Alyssa Charlier. The forward slid home from close range after being teed up by Romee Leuchter – much to the frustration of Dario Vidosic, who felt there was a foul in the build-up.
With a new-look 11 entering the fray at half-time, the Seagulls almost immediately responded after the break through Madison Haley. However, she failed to connect cleanly with her effort, which ultimately trickled wide.
