Georginio Rutter among the goals as Brighton cruise to 3-0 victory over Italian giants AS Roma

Georginio Rutter opened the scoring for the Seagulls after 30 minutes, picking up possession on the edge of the penalty area before jinking onto his left and whipping a sensational effort into the top corner and beyond Mile Svilar.

Yasin Ayari then made it two just ten minutes later, with the Swede firing a sweet strike into the bottom corner after Yankuba Minteh and Diego Gomez failed to create an opening from their counter-attack.

Brighton then picked up where they left off after the half-time break, with Ayari bagging his second of the afternoon.
