Brighton now know their potential first opponents in the UEFA Conference League. At the draw on Monday afternoon, the Seagulls were drawn against the winner of Romania’s CFR Cluj and Norway’s Tromsø IL clash.

The Albion’s first Conference League play-off match has been scheduled for August 20, three days before their Premier League season-opener against Aston Villa. The second leg will take place on August 27.

CFR Cluj and Tromsø will face off in their Conference League third qualifying round two-legged tie on August 6 and August 13, so the Albion will have to wait almost another two weeks before knowing their actual opponents.
