Brighton snatched a 2-2 draw against Birmingham in their first away fixture of the Women's Super League season on Sunday afternoon.
While the hosts scored either side of the interval through Océane Hurtré and Lily Crosthwaite, the Seagulls turned the tide late on to salvage a point.
Birmingham’s opener came inside eight minutes as Hurtré stole the ball from Brighton centre-back Caitlin Hayes before slotting her effort past goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie.
The hosts could have extended their advantage moments later when Crosthwaite drove past a struggling Hayes, but the winger’s strike was pushed away by Nnadozie.
