Brighton owner Tony Bloom believes that his side have a ‘real chance’ of winning a trophy this season.

The Seagulls invested heavily over the summer, bolstering their ranks with a view to heading into the campaign with a large squad with plenty of depth.

Brighton have progressed into the league phase of the Conference League, booked their spot in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup with a 3-2 win over Manchester United and impressed in the Premier League with wins over Aston Villa and Arsenal.
