Coventry City have reached an agreement to sign Carl Rushworth following weeks of negotiations.
The goalkeeper enjoyed a sensational campaign out on loan with the Sky Blues last season, playing an integral role in their promotion back to the Premier League.
Rushworth won the Championship Golden Glove and was also named Coventry’s Player of the Season, Players' Player of the Season, and Young Player of the Season.
As a result, manager Frank Lampard made signing the 25-year-old one of his side’s top priorities this summer, and a move is now on the cusp of completion.
