Brighton are hoping to bring at least one new signing through the door before tomorrow night’s deadline.

They have already bolstered their options at both ends of the pitch, overhauling their defensive ranks whilst also freshening up their strike force with the additions of Promise David and Zadok Yohanna.

Somewhat surprisingly, a midfielder has not arrived yet, despite James Milner’s decision to retire and Carlos Baleba’s move to Manchester United.

Nevertheless, the Seagulls are continuing to work around the clock to ensure that Fabian Hurzeler has a strong, deep squad to work with as his side prepare to battle it out in four different competitions this season.
