Brighton Women secured their first league victory of the season with a 5-1 win over Charlton Athletic at the Amex Stadium on Sunday, coming from behind to claim a comfortable victory.

The visitors took the lead inside three minutes as club-record signing Cassandra Korhonen scored at the second time of asking following Jodie Hutton’s cross into the box.

Albion had chances throughout the first half and dominated possession, with Olaug Tvedten having her 16th-minute strike blocked on the line by Hawa Cissoko.

The Seagulls’ leveller soon came through Kiko Seike in the 25th minute, with the winger being picked out at the far post following a driving run from Olivia García.
